What: he Clayton Jazz Festival returns for 2016 with an expanded lineup of artists for you to enjoy. There are two events scheduled at the Opera House for Friday and Saturday evenings. On Friday, you will not want to miss “Jazz Rhapsody” with vocalist Connye Florance, a theatrical jazz history tour that brings to life the legacy of America’s original sound of classic and original jazz, spoken word and intimately staged theatre. On Saturday, two great jazz bands return to the stage from last year: The Brighton Beat, with their inspired Afrobeat rhythms and powerful horn section that will keep the crowd dancing, along with the hugely popular and entertaining Fritzel’s New Orleans Jazz Band returning for their 4th appearance.
