SANDY CREEK — The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Arts and Sciences is a mythical beast among elite art, engineering and architecture institutions in the country. Each year, 65 highly talented students are accepted into the New York City art school on $150,000 full-tuition scholarships to hone their art technique.
